Advanced Master’s in EU Interdisciplinary Studies
A clear focus on career development is one of the main features of this programme. An innovative seminar is organised to offer students the necessary skills to develop a professional project and a career plan.
Objectives of this programme
The goal of this programme is to develop the skills of the student. By supplementing their training with a high level of expertise, they are better equipped to understand how EU policies function. It aims to train the experts of the future, developing skills in analysis, synthesis and debate.
Curriculum
The curriculum of this advanced Master programme is not designed to provide an introduction to the subject, but rather to deepen students' knowledge of the topics covered. A core module of compulsory courses provides an understanding of European integration.
Students can then choose between three thematic modules:
- Economic Governance and Policies in the EU
- Migrations, Rights and Policies
- EU Integration and Regionalism and Global Governance
An internship is compulsory. Students write a final dissertation based on the professional experience gained during their internship and the professional development seminar.
Lastly, a selected group of students can benefit from an annual exchange programme and an international academic chair in Comparative Regionalism with Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan.
Career opportunities for graduates of the Master's programme
This Master's programme prepares students for careers in:
- European, national or local institutions
- businesses
- professional associations
- interest groups
- NGOs
- the media
