Research stays
The IEE regularly welcomes visiting researchers whose work focuses on its main research themes. On average, 14 visiting researchers per academic year come from all over Europe and beyond for visits lasting between one and 12 months.

How to become a visiting researcher at the IEE-ULB ?
Interested candidates are invited to submit their application, which must include:
- an up-to-date CV
- a research project highlighting the link with one or more of the IEE's four research themes
- the proposed research period
- the name of the IEE-affiliated professor who has agreed to supervise the researcher.
Applications should be sent by email to Prof. François Foret, Dominique Dembour and Dr. Marta Matrakova.
Decisions on visiting researcher applications are made by the IEE Council, which meets five times a year.
