The Institute is the hub for European studies research at the ULB. As a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, the IEE-ULB is recognised for its expertise. The Institute develops an interdisciplinary research agenda, established by its Research Committee.

The IEE-ULB carries out several interdisciplinary research projects that have been recognised for their success. The institute also promotes work on European issues within research units and centres at our partner faculties.
