Master’s in Economics - Business Economics
The Master’s in Economics with a focus on business economics develops technical and analytical skills in issues related to the European economy. It provides training in commercial, economic, political and financial topics.
Master's programme in Economics
The programme includes a core curriculum of compulsory courses, several optional modules and a final dissertation. All courses are taught in English, with some exceptions.
The Master in Economics – Business Economics offers three options:
- EU Regulation and Economy,
- EU and International Business,
- Financial Markets and Services.
The teaching approach combines analytical skills and problem solving. Courses combine theoretical training and field projects.
Objectives of the Master’s in Business Economics
This Master's programme aims to train business economists, policy makers, consultants and, more generally, professionals for sectors and functions that require technical and analytical skills.
The programme covers quantitative and conceptual tools for financial, economic and statistical analysis and exposes students to their practical applications in the economic and financial world.
The European dimension of economic and financial issues is strongly developed, both across the programme and through specialised courses (such as European Competition Policy).
The Master's programme addresses the challenges of the business world, the economy and economic policy, in particular their interactions (finance and financial market regulation, corporate strategy and competition policy, innovation and policies to support research and development, among others).
Advantages of the Master's in Economics
An impeccable method: rigour and international mobility.
