About Daniele Gallo
Daniele Gallo is Professor of EU Law at Luiss University (Rome). He has been recurring visiting professor in several universities, such as Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris), Sciences Po Aix (Aix-en-Provence) and the School of Law of American University (Washington DC).Previously, he has been EU Fulbright Schuman Scholar at Fordham Law School (New York), DAAD Fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches öffentliches Recht und Völkerrecht (Heidelberg), and Jean Monnet Fellow at the EUI (Florence). He is the author of four monographs, including Direct Effect in EU Law (OUP, 2025). He regularly pleads before the CJEU and the European Commission.
